The only self-help video I found for headaches (which was much more complicated, and took much longer to work) was $49.00. I also found an 8-week class online for $70 (Yikes! How complicated is THAT technique?!! And who wants to wait eight weeks to improve the quality of their life?)

  • i get a severe headache on right side when i exercise?

Posted by admin on March 8th, 2010 and filed under chronic daily headache syndrome | 1 Comment »

i’m doing arm exercise from a railthat comes up to my chest

If you’re getting a headache during upper body exercise, there are two main possibilities.

    1. Are you drinking enough water during exercise? Mild dehydration gives some people headaches.

    2. It’s possible, since you’re noticing this mainly during arm exercises, that you have a pinched nerve somewhere in your neck or shoulder that’s causing you pain when you work the muscles around it.

Your best bet would be to see a doctor in person about this, since it’s pretty much impossible to tell you via internet.

Really bad headache on right side of head.?

When I woke up this morning I had and incredibly hard pounding headache on the right side on my forehead. It was making the top my eye and eyelid area hurt too. It’s mostly gone away now but it really hurt like I didn’t want to move my hand away from my right side of the forehead and it was actually hurting to open that eye. I was really dizzy aswell.

I also slept really bad last night. I didn’t fall asleep for 2 hours after I got in bed then after that I was up every too hours. So I woke up evertually with the headache and I didn’t want to eat breakfast so I just had a kiwi and I think my headache is just about gone but why was it so bad? What was wrong?

Oh God I was like for almost a week ending a couple of days ago. It was so HORRIBLE, check and see if you’re not about to start your period. Also check and see if you haven’t any mold growing in your house. It can travel your air ducts and cause serious headaches. This is a problem when it comes to apt living.

Take a couple of migraine pills and lie in the dark.

Quick Headache on Right Side of head?

Posted by admin on March 2nd, 2010 and filed under chronic daily headache syndrome | 1 Comment »

When I yawn or chew with the right side of my mouth, or when I get up quick, the right upper part of my head hurts. It feels more like a headache when I get up, and the others feel just a little different, kind of like a muscle, but there is little difference. The pain is in my right upper part of my head. The pains only last about a second or two after yawn/chew, and the same when I get up fast. It feels like pressure in my head, like a headache, but stops fast. The pain doesn’t come randomly, like when I sitting down, and it’s pretty much just with those things happening. I don’t think that it’s a tumor though because I don’t have nausia or random headachs, longlasting headachs, or seizures. Is this something to worry about?
I’m 16 and also, if I jump op and down fast I can feel a throbbing, but when I stop so does the pain.

with this appearing when you change positions, get up from lying down and from you exercising, it tends to make me think it could be attached to your bloodpressure….and that, for it being in one so young, that it does indeed need to be discussed with a doctor…. it’s not that unusual for young’uns to be stressed enuff to affect blood pressure and if there’s elevated pressure, then one must be careful of things like aneurysms…… the yawn/chew could be a signal of a mis-aligned jaw problem…. whatever the cause, it’s not just something to be ignored…. ask the doc to check it out!!!

Headache on right side of head only……?

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under chronic daily headache syndrome | 5 Comments »

ok at first it started off as strange feelings in my head on my right side…. and now im getting a headache only on the right side.. it kinda feels like a brain freeze headache….i also get these strange feelings in my body …like im just gonna pass out……i know its not a migraine because i have never had a migraine on 1 side of my head….does any1 know if it could possibly be a brain tumor or something else??

My head usually hurts only on one side too. I used to get them often but I tried doing some of these things to get less headaches:
Don’t look at a computer screen too long
Try not to eat pork often, only occasionally
    Try not to stress
Don’t go a long time without eating
    Get enough sleep
Don’t sleep with anything too tight on your head
Just keep doing that and see if these headaches stop. Then if it doesn’t you can go to the doctor. You may just need something as simple as glasses…

How do you get rid of a right side headache?

It starts at the base of the neck and raidats to my right eye.

Sounds like a migraine coming on, they typically are on one side of the head. So get some ice packs or crush some ice up in wash cloths, and apply to where you hurt the most, and to the back of your neck and the temples. This helps to constrict the blood vessels flowing to the brain, which is what some migraine medications do.
Take in frequent small amounts of water or juice, NO drinks with caffeine as they will dehydrate you, and if this is a migraine you may get nauseated and start to vomit so you need to avoid anything that would make you get dehydrated any faster.
Next go to a quiet, dark room and rest. NO TV or computer. The Neurologist treating my daughter for migraines would never allow the TV to be on in her hospital room, even with the volume muted because the light from the screen could cause the migraine to worsen.
If you do get nauseated try a bite of a saltine cracker to settle your stomach, and some ice chips if you cannot hold fluids down.
Whether or not these measures help, if you get another headache this bad you should see a Dr.

Help!!! Have had throbbing headache-right side-above eye for several days?

    pl see what suits you.
If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.
If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.
Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

    Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don’t treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves’ juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

    It may disappear naturally too.

What can cause a headache on one side and my eye bloodshot in same area?

Posted by admin on February 6th, 2010 and filed under chronic daily headache syndrome | 8 Comments »

I woke this morning with a headache on the left side of my head around the temple area, then I looked in the mirror and saw my left eye on the outside part was totally bloodshot. Only that area is read, and now my same left eye hurts; like when I blink it . Have you ever had this before or know what could have caused it, or how I can get relief??

wow. can i disagree with all of those?

this needs to be investigated. make an appointment with a doctor.

but to *me* this sounds like a typical CLUSTER HEADACHE:

What could cause pain that starts under the chin on left side of neck and goes up to ear and becomes headache?

Posted by admin on February 2nd, 2010 and filed under chronic daily headache syndrome | 3 Comments »

With pain on bending over, or turning neck, headache on left side only lasting three days only dulled a little by tylenol. I am on antibiotics for another infection, so doesn’t seem to be from sinuses, or from tooth problems. Pain all night and on arising in the morning. Possible swollen lymph on that side?

you might have a clogged salivary gland.
A simple solution is biting into a lemon or something extremely sour. It will cause your salivary glands to flood and this sometimes removes the little crystal that has formed there. If clogged long enough you can form a crystal in there that will have to be removed by surgery as it becomes to large to exit through the opening there. It is almost like a kidney stone.
Try the lemon first and maybe a couple times to see if that helps.
